Plug-and-play Bosch Motorsport ABS for the 996 and 997 GT3 Cup, with Porsche-specific wheel speed sensors and a car-specific harness in the box. Developed and proven at Spa and the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
A Cup-car version of Bosch's ABS M5, packaged so the system drops into the car instead of being engineered around it.
The ABS M5 Kit Porsche Cup uses the same hydraulic unit, sensors, and control strategy as Bosch's universal ABS M5, then packages them for the GT3 Cup chassis. The wiring harness is built for the car, the four DF11S wheel speed sensors are Porsche-specific, and a holder for the hydraulic unit comes in the box, so much of the guesswork that comes with a universal ABS conversion is handled before you open it.
Once it's in the car, you tune it to your setup. Vehicle weight, track width, wheel weights, tire rolling circumference, wheelbase, and sensor tooth count are all entered through Bosch's free RaceABS software, and the driver chooses from 11 preconfigured maps on a 12-position cockpit switch, with the remaining position reserved for ABS off. A car-specific wiring harness and hydraulic unit holder let the system integrate with the 996/997 Cup layout instead of a universal loom.
Four Porsche-specific DF11S wheel speed sensors ship with the kit, so there's nothing to source or adapt at the hubs.
The 12-position switch gives the driver 11 preconfigured Bosch maps and a dedicated off position, all selectable without a laptop.

ABS data is broadcast over CAN, and Bosch's DBC file lets a CAN-capable logger or dash pick up the ABS channels.
Bosch's MM5.10 measures longitudinal and lateral acceleration, feeding the ABS the vehicle dynamics it needs to manage wheel slip.

No. This kit ships with four Porsche-specific DF11S sensors. That's one of the main differences from the 991 Cup kit, which reuses the car's factory DF11i sensors.
Brake pipes, brake pipe fittings, and fuses aren't part of the 996/997 kit. We stock circuit breakers in our ABS Installation Kit, and our ABS M5 buyer's guide lists the Porsche Cup install parts by part number.
Yes. One of the twelve switch positions is set aside for ABS off, and the other eleven hold preconfigured Bosch maps, so the driver can move between intervention levels or disable ABS without plugging in a laptop.
The kit communicates on CAN at 1 Mbaud, and Bosch publishes a DBC file (linked in the downloads above) so a CAN-capable logger or dash can decode the ABS messages. Bosch specifies DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid for the ABS M5 hydraulic unit.
