A lightweight 12V compressor that's supplied air to paddle shift systems at Le Mans and the Rolex 24 at Daytona, proof it holds up to the hardest duty cycle in racing.
The air source behind a pneumatic paddle shift system.
The Compact Compressor supplies up to 10 bar of pressure to run a pneumatic paddle shift system, and it's built small enough to package almost anywhere in the car. The cylinder head and front plate are CNC machined from high grade aluminum billet, with a serviceable air filter element, AV mounting rubbers, and built-in cooling vanes. Every unit goes through a rigorous sign-off procedure before it ships, which is why it's proven itself as a lightweight, reliable replacement for the larger Megaline Compressor GT, at a lower cost without giving up reliability.
It's typically paired with a Shiftec accumulator to keep air supply constant during high-consumption shifting, and controlled from the ECU or a Shiftec GCU.

The Compact Compressor is typically run alongside an accumulator to maintain constant air supply during high-consumption shifting, when the compressor alone can't keep up.
Shop the Accumulator →The flying lead version (ZA090-2) is simplest if you're splicing straight into your own harness. The DTP version (ZA091-2) gives you a factory-terminated connector if you'd rather plug in than splice.
Most installs run one. The compressor alone can struggle to keep up during rapid, high-consumption shifting, and an accumulator stores reserve air to cover those moments.
It's usually controlled from your ECU or a Shiftec GCU, which switches it on and off to maintain system pressure.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund (less the cost of shipping). Special order items will be subject to a restocking fee, so please contact us before sending your item. Your refund will process within one week of Creative Motorsport Solutions receiving your item. Please note the time it takes your bank to process your refund may take up to 5 to 10 business days.
