Frequently Asked Questions
Is HD1 a cut-down version of HD2?
No. GPS accuracy, CAN channel count, operating temperature range, and the free Circuit Tools 3 software are identical between the two. HD1 is simply a single-camera format in a smaller, lighter body.
Can I use HD1 alongside an AI coaching device or an action camera I already own?
Yes. HD1 doesn't need to replace anything already in the car. It's common to run it alongside an existing action camera or coaching device and simply compare the data afterward in Circuit Tools.
Does HD1 need a dash display to be useful?
