The ABS M5 is a full ABS system, not just a control unit. Every kit includes the hydraulic unit, brake pressure sensors, a yaw and acceleration sensor, wheel speed sensors, a 12-position driver switch, and a vehicle-specific wiring harness. Individual car parameters, vehicle weight, track width, wheel weights, wheel circumference, wheelbase, and sensor increment count, are all calibrated through free Bosch software, so the same hardware adapts to your specific car rather than forcing a generic setup onto it.

Vehicle parameters are set using RaceABS, Bosch's free ABS configuration and diagnostic tool. It's where you dial in vehicle weight and track width, wheel weights and circumference, wheelbase, wheel speed sensor increment count, and, on Kit 1 and Kit 2, map assignment per switch position. A Bosch MSA-Box II USB diagnostic cable is required to connect your laptop to the ABS unit and is sold separately.
