The C185's electronics on a 7" screen, 250 MB of logging standard, 4 CAN buses, and 16 programmable LEDs, for teams who want the bigger display without giving up the pro-level logger underneath.

The C187 is a logger from the moment it ships. Every unit includes 250 MB of internal logging memory (expandable to 500 MB) at up to 1,000 samples per second, along with MoTeC's i2 Standard analysis software. The vivid 178 mm (7") screen is the same anti-reflective, high resolution panel as the C127, and it carries sixteen programmable full-color LEDs for shift lights and warning alerts.
Underneath, the C187 shares the C185's expanded electronics: 4 configurable CAN buses instead of 2, a much larger standard input/output count, and a rugged 79-pin Autosport connector. That makes it the right call for programs that know they need serious logging, I/O, and a bigger screen from day one. If your program is happy to start smaller and add logging when needed, see the C127 instead.

See the Full MoTeC Display Comparison →No. The C187 ships with 250 MB of logging memory active out of the box. That's the key difference from the C127, which needs a Logging Enable Code before it logs anything.
Screen size and LED count. The C187 has a 7" screen and 16 LEDs versus the C185's 5" screen and 10 LEDs. Logging, comms, and I/O are otherwise identical.
Advanced Maths and Channel Maths functions, plus it expands your available 2D and 3D tables from 4 each to 16 each, and your user conditions from 20 to 50.
Yes, MoTeC enable codes are issued against your unit's serial number. Have that on hand when purchasing an upgrade.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund (less the cost of shipping). Special order items will be subject to a restocking fee, so please contact us before sending your item. Your refund will process within one week of Creative Motorsport Solutions receiving your item. Please note the time it takes your bank to process your refund may take up to 5 to 10 business days.
