Where the C125 is a display first with logging as an upgrade, the C185 is a logger from the moment it ships. Every unit includes 250 MB of internal logging memory (expandable to 500 MB) at up to 1,000 samples per second, along with MoTeC's i2 Standard analysis software. The vivid 125 mm (5") screen is the same anti-reflective, high resolution panel as the C125, and it carries the same ten programmable full-color LEDs for shift lights and warning alerts.
The C185 also steps up the electronics underneath: 4 configurable CAN buses instead of 2, a much larger standard input/output count, and a rugged 79-pin Autosport connector in place of the C125's 34-pin connector. That makes it the right call for programs that know they need serious logging and I/O from day one, rather than adding it later. If your program is happy to start smaller and add logging when needed, see the C125 instead.

The C185 carries a much larger standard I/O count and 4 CAN buses, so it uses a 79-pin Autosport connector rather than the C125's 34-pin connector to support the extra pins.

Yes, MoTeC enable codes are issued against your unit's serial number. Have that on hand when purchasing an upgrade.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund (less the cost of shipping). Special order items will be subject to a restocking fee, so please contact us before sending your item. Your refund will process within one week of Creative Motorsport Solutions receiving your item. Please note the time it takes your bank to process your refund may take up to 5 to 10 business days.
