RaceABS and Configuration

The Bosch Motorsport ABS M5 Clubsport is configured using Bosch's complimentary RaceABS calibration software. Vehicle-specific settings are quickly programmed through the software using a Bosch MSA-Box II USB interface (sold separately), allowing the system to be tailored to your chassis and braking package.

Typical configuration includes:

• Vehicle weight, wheelbase, and track width
• Individual wheel loads and tire rolling circumference
• Wheel speed sensor tooth count (increment count)
• Additional vehicle-specific ABS parameters

Which Wheel Speed Sensor / CAN Bus Speed Do I Need?

Not sure if your vehicle requires a DF11s (standard), DF11i (less common), or DF11v (rare) wheel speed sensor? We offer complimentary testing of your factory wheel speed sensor to identify the correct sensor type and matching CAN bus speed before your Bosch ABS M5 ships. Simply send us your sensor and we will test it for you, we only ask that you cover shipping to and from our facility. If it's not a direct plug and play option, we will help source an solution!

12-Position Function Switch

The included 12-position rotary switch allows the driver to instantly select the Bosch Motorsport ABS calibration best suited to changing track conditions without connecting a laptop.

• Dry / High-Grip: Minimal ABS intervention for maximum braking performance.
• Intermediate Grip: Balanced intervention for mixed conditions.
• Wet / Low Grip: Increased wheel slip allowance for rain, gravel, or low-traction surfaces.

Each switch position corresponds to a Bosch Motorsport pre-calibrated ABS map, allowing rapid adjustments at the track without modifying the underlying system calibration.
