INF-V4 Infrared Brake Disc Temp Sensor

Used for over a decade in F1 racing, the Texense INF-V4 infrared disc brake temperature sensor, has the same packaging as the very popular INFTS IR brake temperature sensor (straight or elbow housing), with an increase in maximum operating temperature. The new INF-V4 has a max operating temp of 180°C, and the 5V version can survive exposures up to 200°C, helping to save on sensor replacement.

With state of the art electronics, a high accuracy PT1000 output and the option of a linearized and temperature compensated output (when used with the LTC-IR module), the INF-V4 is the the perfect solution for carbon disc brake temperature measurement. Used in F1 for over a decade the Texense INF range of infrared brake temperature sensors are the industry standard in IR brake temperature measurement technology.

The INF-V4 IR brake temp sensor can be used in conjunction with the LTC-IR module, providing the end user a linearized and temperature compensated output signal. Target temperatures can be lower than sensor body temperatures when performing low temperature calculations.

It is recommended to clean the infrared lens daily after use using alcohol to increase the longevity of the sensor and to maintain accuracy. This is particularly important for measurements carried out on carbon disc brakes.
